Flavors and Knowledge of Tuscan cooking, which has its roots in poor traditional simple dishes, with basic ingredients and genuine flavors. Healthy eating with organic products of our farm: extra virgin olive oil, vegetables, saffron, herbs, and local products. We’re starting from the preparation of the dough after an introduction of different kinds of flours and their use in the preparation of fresh pasta, from Tagliatelle to stuffed Pasta. Then we work on the pasta, from egg pasta (tagliatelle, tortelli, ravioli, maltagliati), to durum wheat pasta (pici, Ferricelli, orecchiette) and preparing also a simple pasta sauces to eat with.
We’re finishing our cooking lesson with the preparation of a typical Tuscan dessert.
At the end of the lesson, you will taste what we cooked together, accompanied by local wines (Chianti and Vernaccia DOCG).
Each participant will be provided with recipes, cooked during class.
The cost for each lesson, including lunch, is 60 Euros per person.
Two is the minimum number of participants.
